Tyne Gangway is exhibiting its Gangway and Accommodation Ladder Systems at the DSEI exhibition in September this year. The exhibition is the world’s leading defence and security show and is expected to attract over 30,000 attendees over the 4 days. The show covers information about products and services as well as showcasing the latest industry innovations. The DSEI attracts  top level international military staff, major procurement officials, and the entire industry supply chain.

Tyne Gangway completes 48mtr Aluminium Deep Water Pontoon Access Gangway for one of the UKs most visited cruise ship ports.

The gangway was supplied with a Steel Cantilever Quay platform and will be installed ready for a busy summer of cruise ship visits.

Today, Tyne Gangway have been awarded DNV_GL Type approval for our range of  gangways up to 27mtrs in length and over-braced gangways upto 50mtrs.

Our design department has worked with DVN -GL Hamburg and their local office to approve the designs, which completes a two year project to gain approval of all TGs Accommodation Ladders & Gangways.

The DNV-GL Approval will be accepted by all IACS Classification Societies.

The approval paves the way to introducing Tyne Gangways new Range of SHALA, SALA & Shore Gangways, which will be stronger, lightweight and will exceed the requirements of current international regulations.

 

 

 

 

 

Tyne Gangway has completed its move to the new premises. The new fabrication facility is larger ensuring that our capability has grown and we are able to manufacture larger walk to work systems & bridges.

The New Fabrication Facility has three 10 tonne overhead cranes and five swing arm cranes enabling a 50% increase in production. The new offices have grown 3 fold. Our outside yard space has increased in size 4 fold enabling us to test & commission prior to dispatch.
